Smart Growth Community Excellence Awards

Rockport Square Lofts, designed by Metropolitan Architecture Studio was recently awarded the Best Smart Growth Multi-Family Development in the Smart Growth Community Excellence Awards of Northeast Ohio, presented at the April 4, 2008 awards ceremony. Additionally, the Rockport Square Neighborhood Plan also designed by Metropolitan Architecture Studio was awarded the Best Smart Growth Development Proposal. The awards are presented by the Smart Growth Education Foundation based on a development’s environmental sensitivity, land conservation, community character, housing choices, use of infrastructure, transportation accessibility, economic viability, and overall design.
